This large Agave could reach up to 1 m in height and according to many internet sources, it will survive -12°C

A key factor for good growth in our climate is a sunny and well drained place. It is vitally important, that there is no standing water on the soil surface around the plant in winter, but also in summer. Protecting from the sun during the freezing time in winter, could be beneficial as well.
