Also known as Arecastrum romanzoffianum or Cocos plumosa. These palms have gentle leaves and smooth, beautiful trunk. They are not very cold hardy, that is why growing them in open ground in Bulgaria is reserved to advanced palm enthusiasts only.

Growing in pots is easy. During the cold season, the temperature should not drop below freezing. It needs regular watering also in winter

It needs plenty of direct sun and will pay off with excellent growth, when watered and fertilized regularly.
